Dr. Sandra Kaplan is a Professor of Clinical Education at the University of Southern California.  She has been actively involved in the California Association for the Gifted and the National Association for the Gifted. Her specialization is in differentiated curriculum and instruction. Her latest publication is title: “Differentiated Curriculum and Instruction for Advanced and Gifted Learner” (2021).  Dr. Kaplan has recognition for her work, receiving awards for Excellence from the Council of Exceptional Children, National Association for the Gifted for Service and Achievement, and Research awards from the California Association for the Gifted.
