Enfranchising Diversity, Equity and Inclusion through Gifted Programming and Practices
Inequality in gifted education is abundantly evident. Although educators recognize they don’t effectively serve gifted learners of diversity, ELLs, and students living in poverty, few have successfully rectified this discrepancy. Dr. Brulles guides educators in practical ways to: enfranchise diversity in gifted identification; build inclusive gifted programs using local norms and flexible grouping; and instill culturally responsive teaching practices. Llearn methods for achieving equity by expanding perspectives, procedures and practices by working with school administrators.
