Gifted Black and Brown students' voices have been suffocated under the knee of systemic racism and white supremacy for far too long. In this session, we will discuss how the field of gifted education can advocate for transformation through the discourse of critical race theory. The session will explore a model of gifted critical race studies as both a way to understand race and racism in gifted education and a tool to drive social change.
